Grinto Davy Chirakekkaren
Orthopaedic Physiotherapist • Clinical Nutritionist • Health & Wellness Coach • Founder of ESCASO® GDDiET®
If you’ve tried diets, workouts, and advice that didn’t last, you’re not weak.
Most bodies don’t need more force, they need the right sequence.
I help people build metabolic health and sustainable weight change using real food, realistic routines, and a method that respects the body.

Grinto Davy is the founder and clinical lead of ESCASO® Metabolic Health Clinic.
He brings 26 + years of active clinical practice in orthopaedic physiotherapy and clinical nutrition to a discipline he built from the ground up: metabolic physiotherapy — the structured use of physiotherapy science to produce and sustain metabolic recovery in people who cannot safely participate in conventional exercise.
His clinical career began in orthopaedic physiotherapy, where he spent two decades treating the physical consequences of metabolic disease — the joint degeneration that follows obesity, the movement limitations arising from chronic fatigue and deconditioning, the post-surgical rehabilitation required after the complications of unmanaged diabetes and cardiometabolic risk. He observed the same pattern consistently: patients whose metabolic disease was managed pharmacologically, but whose physical capacity to sustain any lifestyle change was never assessed or addressed.
The GDDiET® protocol emerged from that clinical observation. It is not a diet. It is not an exercise programme. It is a clinical system — integrating precision nutrition, functional medicine marker interpretation, and advanced physiotherapy — that addresses metabolic disease in the whole body, not just the blood report.

Why I built ESCASO
After years of clinical work, I kept seeing the same pattern:
People were trying hard, but their health was getting harder to manage.
So I built ESCASO® GDDiET® - a practical method that combines:
-
clinical nutrition principles (real food, not powders)
-
physiotherapy-informed movement and mobility thinking
-
lifestyle structure that people can actually maintain
This is designed for people dealing with stubborn weight gain, diabetes, PCOD/PCOS patterns, thyroid-related struggles, fatigue, and lifestyle-related health challenges.
How I work
I don’t sell motivation. I build clarity.
In our work together, we focus on:
-
Understanding your pattern (what’s driving your fatigue, cravings, weight gain, sleep disruption)
-
Building a plan that fits real life (work schedule, food culture, physical limitations)
-
Reviewing and adjusting based on how your body responds over time
No drama. No extreme rules. Just consistent, intelligent work.

What I don’t do
-
I don’t push quick fixes
-
I don’t build plans that require “perfect discipline”
-
I don’t shame people for struggling
-
I don’t pretend one method fits everyone
